Terms of Service
This is the alpha agreement and is pending formal legal and compliance review before public launch.
1. The service
JollyPay Escrow provides a neutral escrow service: a buyer funds a transaction, the funds are held, and they are released to the seller only when the agreed terms are met, or refunded to the buyer where they are not.
2. Eligibility
You must be of legal age and able to enter a binding contract. You agree to provide accurate information and to complete identity verification where required.
3. Escrow & settlement
- Funds held in escrow are released according to the deal's agreed terms, milestones and inspection window.
- Settlement is made through supported Mobile Money and other payment rails.
- Fees, where applicable, are disclosed before you confirm a transaction.
4. Your responsibilities
- Deal honestly and deliver what you agree to.
- Keep your account secure and your credentials confidential.
- Do not use JollyPay for unlawful, fraudulent or prohibited activity.
5. Disputes
If a transaction goes wrong, either party may raise a dispute. JollyPay reviews the transaction history and may release, refund or split the escrowed funds in line with the evidence and these terms.
6. Limitation of liability
JollyPay provides the escrow service "as is" during this alpha period. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the service.
7. Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
